REFLECT ON YOUR LIFE
HAVE YOU TAKEN A TIME OUT LATELY TO THINK AND REFLECT ON YOUR LIFE?
It’s been said; Most people spend more time on planning their annual holiday, than planning their life.
I often talk about TIME-OUTS and REFLECTION TIMES, as I’ve learned what tremendous value they hold.
I have learned the value of getting into the habit of carving out regular quiet times for one’s self for reflection times.
I’d like to share with you…
In the latter times I have been so preoccupied with ‘things’ – being on the run with home renovations…family duties…having my new website built and copious other little things.
I started to feel a sense of ‘unease’ in my body, almost like an ‘imbalance’. I knew it was a sign; my inner voice was talking to me, as I have experienced this many, many times before.
I was feeling overwhelmed and felt my mind being ‘fogged’…I felt a sense of stagnation coming over me. And I don’t like that! I knew that my ‘inner voice’ was giving me a sign. It was trying to tell me, “You need to take a TIME OUT girl! It’s time to ‘check in’!
That is exactly what I ended up doing. After a busy and tiring day, I tucked myself into my ‘abode’, took notepad and pen, I began to think and reflect. I reflected on what is happening now in my life…where I want to be, what I want to do, what I need to do; my goals, my activities, my thoughts. I did this on paper.
This TIME OUT gave me clarity of exactly where I am with my goals, where I want to be and what I need to do. On top if it all, it was such a lovely, relaxing time with me, myself and I. It was definitely a worthy little TIME OUT!
I highly recommend it to everyone! It’s a remedy for confusion, frustration and lack of joy.
So many people don’t take TIME OUTS to REFLECT. They claim they don’t have the time.
I say, you can’t afford not to take the time!
I have learned that it’s so easy to ‘waver’ of the track. And the purpose of a TIME OUT is to reflect on your life at present time…bring you back on track, get you re-focused, experience insights and breakthroughs. Also, it is a beautiful time to rejuvenate and express gratitude.
A TIME OUT helps you get clarity about where you are and where you want to be. It re-connects you with your goals. Overall, it is a beautiful time to have a little relaxation time with you.
